Thank you Christmas Angels!

 Because of your generosity  it has been another successful season of giving! This year Christmas Angels helped 41 families to celebrate a joyous Christmas. Within moments of posting wish lists, the families were sponsored and their needs were met.  Your spirit of giving, as always, goes above and beyond what the families had asked for. We are so thankful for your selfless efforts during such a busy time of year. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts and wish you all a happy and healthy New Year!

To the Christmas Angels,

Thank you for all that you have done this holiday season to help Medfield families in need!  The time you take to choose and shop for a child or teen’s request makes a profound impact on the lives of the families served through Christmas Angels.

This year was particularly hard on many families in the community who experienced a job loss or felt the strain of these hard economic times. When they came to pick up their gifts we can see the relief in their faces knowing that their children will have beautiful gifts to open Christmas morning.  Thank you for your generosity!  Thank you for the heart behind all that you do to lift up a neighbor who could use extra cheer this holiday season.

• One single mother lost her job this past year and has been struggling to make ends meet while also searching for a new job. We could see the visible relief in her face and watched her shoulders relax as a weight was lifted off her shoulders. Thank you!!

Thank You Christmas Angels 2011!

Dear Christmas Angels, Thank you, thank you , thank you! Your generousity and kindness has been overwhelming! Because of you, 42 families in need recieved Christmas joy this year as their whole Christmas was provided for! Twelve families recieved special request items such as a digital camera, bicycle, American Girls dolls, Vacuum, sports tickets, the list goes on. All of you truly are angels, spreading kindness and love this Christmas!  One grateful mother wrote to us;  "I just wanted to say thank you to everyone! Everything my son got was perfect! I was expecting one toy but you guys went above and beyond!"   Another family wrote: "Dear Medfield Christmas Angels, We want to thank you VERY MUCH for your generosity,caring and thoughtfulness to our family during this holiday season. With all the medical etc...issues we have been dealing with, your generous gifts helped make our Christmas Special. Our children have learned that there are still truly caring people still out there which have been hard to find! We ask that God bless you all as we know he's just blessed us with people who truly care for others,especially caring for and helping complete strangers! We truly can't thank you enough!" We thank you all for counting your blessings and helping those less fortunate.  We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas! Jeanne and Nicki  thechristmasangels.blogspot.com  The following is a letter sent to us from our liasons, Dawn and Jen, at the Medfield Youth Out Reach: December 14, 2011 Dear Christmas Angels, We are overwhelmed by your generosity to your neighbors this year!  As we entered Nicki’s basement and saw all the gifts for 42 sponsored families our hearts were so lifted.  This season has been particularly tough on many families we serve.  We hear the stories of so many whose burdens are heavy throughout the year.  Your giving has made an incredible difference in the lives of the families you have served in this special way.  Experiencing with a parent the special joy of picking up their packages is such a wonderful encounter.  Each parent has had a special comment about how grateful they are for the generosity and care put into the shopping for their children.  There are often tears as folks relay how good it feels to know they will have something for their children to open at Christmas. We have already received the following thoughts in thank you emails from those sponsored: “I can't thank you enough, as well as the families that participated.  Their generosity is overwhelming.  Thanks again for everything. Happy Holidays!” Father "I was touched by the generosity, had no expectations to get so much, I truly thought will get one thing off the list, The Christmas Angels took care of every item on our list. It brought tears in my eyes. It makes me so happy. Thank you for everything! Thank you ANGELS. Thank you thank you thank you!” Thank you for thinking about your neighbors this year and acting on those thoughts in such a truly caring way.  When times are tough, just to know that someone out there cares…and “sees” you, can mean all the difference to someone who is hurting. We wish you all many blessings this holiday season.  As you celebrate your own holidays, please know that you have likewise given others an additional reason to be glad this holiday season.
